How we got our name.

Ridgeville was the original name used to define the area of north Chicago through Evanston. The name Ridgeville first officially appeared in 1850 but was changed in 1853 to “Evanston” in honor of one of Northwestern University’s founders and former Governor of the Colorado Territory, John Evans, who also ordered the Sand Creek Massacre in 1864.

Our neighborhood history is important to us and we hope to become an enduring part of our area’s future. Our goal is to provide our guests a fun place where all are welcomed to find comfort in great food, drink, and friendships new and old.
